Scheme for Revival of Tourism in Jammu & Kashmir extended for 2 years.
Srinagar, July 15 – On the instructions of Chief Minister Mr. Omar Abdullah, scheme for revival of tourism sector in J&K with two components of loan facilities to travel and taxi-operators and development of paying guest accommodation by unemployed youth, has been further extended for a period of two years.
Terms and conditions of the scheme will remain same as contained in the guidelines issues to this effect.
The extension scheme will benefit large number of people directly and indirectly involved in the Tourism sector, besides providing opportunities to youth to generate self-employment. It will also enhance inflow and stay of tourists in the State. |
