Chief Minister, Jammu & Kashmir, lays foundation of
Artificial Lake in Jammu

Jammu, December 05 - Chief Minister, Mr. Omar Abdullah today on the birth anniversary of the Late Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah laid foundation of Rs.25 crore artificial lake to be developed in the Niki Tawi.

Mr. Omar said that the mega project of artificial lake launched today would be a gift to the people of Jammu. “I am looking forward to see the project completed within the prescribed time frame and people boating in the lake.”, he expressed hope that concerned departments would devote fullest time and energy in completing the projects speedily.

The 1500 meters long and 600 meters wide artificial lake first of its kind in Jammu will give a new dimension to the tourism development in Jammu city.
