Holy Mace of Lord Shiva arrives at the Cave Shrine of
Shri Amarnath ji to mark completion of the pilgrimage

Lord Shiva in the form of a Lingam, is formed naturally of an ice.

Srinagar (Kashmir), August 24 - "Chhari-Mubarak", the Holy Mace of Lord Shiva reached the Holy Cave of Shri Amarnath ji Kashmir today on the auspicious occasion of full moon day of Rakhi Purnima and with this concluded the two-month-long pilgrimage.

Enthusiastic devotees, led by Mahant Deepender Giri, left Panjtarni in the morning carrying the Holy Mace to Shri Amarnath ji Cave Shrine in Kashmir. "Bam Bam Bhole"’ and "Har Har Mahadev" rented the air throughout the trek to Holy Shrine Cave of Shri Amarnath ji. The Holy Mace was taken inside the Cave Shrine where Mahant Giri led the devotees in offering puja, the last this year.

"Chhari Mubarak" will be taken back to Pahalgam. About 4.57 lakh pilgrims from different parts of India, had darshan of Ice Shivlingam since the Yatra commenced this year on July 1.
