E-Ticket Booking for Helicopter Services for
Shri Amarnath Yatra-2013 commences on
20th April, 2013
Jammu, April 3 - Online Booking of Helicopter Tickets for Shri Amarnathji Yatra 2013 shall commence on 20th April 2013 at 10.00 A.M.
Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board has made arrangements with M/s Global Vectra Pvt Ltd and M/s Himalayan Heli Services Pvt Ltd for providing Helicopter Services on Baltal-Panjtarni-Baltal Sector and M/s Pawan Hans Pvt. Ltd for Helicopter Services on Pahalgam-Panjtarni-Pahalgam Sector.
Giving further details, the Chief Executive Officer, Shri Amarnath Shrine Board informed that On-line Booking facility shall be available to the intending Yatris for Shri Amarnathji Yatra-2013 from 20th April, 2013 on websites of the aforesaid Companies.
The Chief Executive Officer further informed that one way per passenger Helicopter-fare for Baltal-Panjtarni and Pahalgam-Panjtarni Sector has been fixed at Rs.1500/- and Rs. 2400/-, respectively.
The CEO further stated that the Yatris who wish to avail Helicopter service for their pilgrimage may not seek Registration through the designated Bank branches as their applications for purchasing Helicopter tickets shall contain the required information and shall be treated as Shri Amarnathji Yatra permits for undertaking the pilgrimage. However, such Yatris would not be able to board the Helicopter-services unless they produce the required Compulsory Health Certificate issued by authorised Doctor/ Institutes which have been notified by their respective State Governments. These Yatris would have to furnish Compulsory Health Certificates at the time of boarding the helicopter at Baltal or Pahalgam, without which the boarding passes will not be issued.
